You look like the early birds, did everyone else get lost in the mist?

Funny enough, we were the late birds last night. After 4 detours due to road construction and lots of heavy traffic, I made it home an hour after I left work. We hit the dog park quite late. The sun was already beginning to set. The mist? Dust from the dirt road. 🙂

Holy Mel, goes to show you how easy it is to get the wrong impression. To me it looked like a misty sunrise..ha. We have the same trouble with construction here. There’s hardly a route that doesn’t have some kind of construction holdup…urrggg.

I would have thought it sunrise too if I hadn’t been there. It’s the lighting. It sounds like you know exactly what we are dealing with. It’s been so dry here that anytime someone drives by the dust goes flying.

Thank you. I thought the same thing. I think I may need to get a print made of this one.

Thanks Alex! I loved the look because it looks like fog, but the truth is it is really just dust from the dirt road. It’s been so dray here lately that anyone driving by causes a sweeping of dust to cover the trees and bushes along the road. This night it spread further because of the breeze.

It always is Kristine. I love it in early mornings and evenings, especially in fall and spring.
