That’s cool – you actually have lights at your dog park? I think most of the ones around here close up at sundown.

    Lovely pic – very moody.

It’s the only one I know of that has lights Leslie. It is so nice to have one at all. Our favorite one doesn’t have any and it is in the middle of nowhere, so I would be afraid to walk it at night. Glad you liked it!

Yes, what a wonderful dog park that is lighted for nighttime visits! Great photo!

Thanks Jan! Yes. We only go here in the winter, mostly because it is well-lit. It is so nice to have one we can go to in the evenings.

What are you watching there? It’s cool that you have lights in your dog park to be able to go at night.

Yeah. We really love that there is one dog park near us that has lights. It’s rarely empty because it is lit, but we kind of like it there in the winter time.

Thanks Cathy. I tried to get all of it in. You should have seen me crouching down! It was less than graceful. 😀

What a great picture! Sure looks like you were having fun gnawing on something. It looks like it was snowing too. Happy Sunday!

Thanks Loy. It was a beautiful snowfall. Jasper was busy gnawing on his ball. 🙂

Thank you! It was a fun evening. The girls spent their time sniffing and Jasper chased his ball.

It’s snowing in this one. It had just started. I was actually trying to capture it in the light. This is the only one that turned out. 🙂

    Another Fantastic photo Mel!!!
Have you ever considered talking to a Doggie magazine and have your photos published?
Maybe even have a few of the really good ones printed as a poster.

You guys are so kind. Thank you! I don’t think I am quite good enough for a doggie magazine, but I do love taking pictures. This one would be fun to make into a poster. I love the trees in the background. Thank you for making my head blow up a bit. 🙂
Seriously, your words made my day.

  13. February 17, 2013 at 12:49 PM

Beautiful picture. You’re lucky you have lights at night and your park is safe.
We have Central Park with lights and Mom won’t go after dark unless there’s an event.
    Hugs and Woofs, BJ.

Thanks BJ Pup! This is one of the only dog parks I know that has lights at night. They even have a heated lamp in a shelter area that is on a timer. We’re usually too busy walking to use it, but it is nice to have the lights.
BTW – I never go to our favorite dog park at night because it doesn’t have any lights.

Thanks Jen. I loved how the trees looked too. (jasper needs no more praise on his looks. He’s quite sure of them already. LOL!)

  15. February 17, 2013 at 6:59 PM

I would ask if you had your jacket on, but I don’t think you need one! 🙂

Thank you! It was a lucky shot. I tried to capture my other two dogs the same way with no luck.
