Favorite Video Friday – It Goes to the Goats

As we face yet another frigid day here in Minnesota (currently -5 degrees with a -14 windchill), I couldn’t help but look for a way to cheer things up a bit – with a little morning cuteness. There is just something about a goat that makes me smile (and laugh).

This video features several goats having fun and sticking together. I hope it makes your Friday a little brighter today.

Favorite Video Friday – Jazz, Wake Up!

After a night of fireworks, we’re all feeling a little tired this morning at Casa del Mel. Slow to wake up and slow to get moving once up. I suspect that my dogs were stressed last night and also lost sleep. Why? Because they aren’t even interested in my breakfast this morning. That doesn’t happen very often.

I wonder how they will be at the dog park today?

Given our tiredness and our inability to get moving, it seemed like the most appropriate video to share with you today is one that reflects that.

It appears Jazz has a hard time getting moving too. 🙂

I know agility competitions are serious business for many people, but sometimes a girl’s just got to run, ya know? 🙂

Favorite Video Friday – Mud Wallowing Dog

It’s been lovely in Minnesota the last few days. We’ve had a series of 35 degree days and the snow is finally starting to melt. It has me thinking that spring is finally on its way.

Soon the crocuses and tulips will be pushing up from the ground, and the birds will be singing their love songs to one another. I’ll be able to throw open the windows and breathe in the fresh spring air, and the dogs and I can spend more time outside.

Of course, there is one thing that comes with a spring thaw… MUD. Lots of it.

And, who loves mud? Dogs. They love running through it and rolling in it and, worst of all, wallowing in it.

If the dog in this video is any example, than I am in a heap of trouble.  It looks like he’s finessed the whole “wallowing” part. (I’m really, really hoping that my dogs get any ideas.)

I don’t know about you, but I am so happy it’s Friday! I figured that people would be jumping with joy to have the day off or (if you’re working) for pleasure of knowing the weekend is ahead. Tilly seems to be feeling the same way. In fact, she’s so happy she can’t stop jumping!
