Favorite Video Friday – Wake up to the paw
Up until recently, my dogs never ever woke me up. They would sleep when I slept and rise when I awoke.
That all changed when Jasper discovered (through a doggy friend) that he had the power to wake me up by just jumping up on the bed and pawing me. Now, he does it almost every day (much to my chagrin).
Part of me misses the days when no one woke me up, but yesterday, when my alarm did not work, I was grateful for it.
So, maybe there is an upside after all.
This week’s Favorite Friday videos is dedicated to all you pet owners who are woken up by a meow, a bark or a paw to the face. Wake up! Time to get going!
Happy Friday everyone. 🙂
Favorite Video Friday – Puppy in Mud
Last week, I shared 3 muddy dog videos to call out all the fun that spring brings for dogs (and dog owners). I was thinking maybe a bath video was the most likely follow up piece, but then I found this week’s video and I just had to share.
Can you stand one more muddy dog video? This one features a puppy who is making most of the mud hole she finds. How can you resists a puppy in mud anyways? 🙂
Happy Friday everyone!
And then, there’s the after mud bath play time. 🙂
Favorite Video Friday – Vici, the cutest little Whippet puppy
Today’s Favorite Friday video will take your heart, melt it, and leave it in a little puddle on your floor. No seriously. It will.
It’s not just the cute little puppy that grabs your heart.  The two resident dogs will totally capture it too. They were so amazing with little Vici. They played with her, treated her gently and showed her the ropes.
Watching a Border Collie and a Malinois, play with this puppy was a real treat. You do not see breeds like this every day, and to see them play so gently with her tells you a lot about the owner. Border Collies and Malinois’ are extremely intelligent, high energy dogs, that are driven to do a job. They need a handler who understands their needs. The fact that they look so well-adjusted tells you that they have the very best kind of dog owner. I’d say this puppy is going to thrive.
I hope you will love this video as much as I did.
What a beautiful set of dogs.
Happy Friday everyone!
Favorite Video Friday – Let’s Get Ready to Tumble!!!
It’s Friday and the weekend is about to begin. What could be better than two Maltese puppies playing? In slow motion? Hell yes!
Here’s a little puppy cuteness to make your day.
Happy Friday everyone!
Favorite Video Friday – My Dog Carly
I don’t know about you, but I like to sing to my dogs.
Most of the time I do it in the car as we make our way to the dog park, but I have been known to sing to them while making dinner or getting ready for work in the morning or while listening to music.
The songs I sing are pretty silly. Little ditties like “I love Daisy. I love Jasper. I love Cuppers. Yes, I love my puppers.” Sometimes my songs meander down strange little paths, losing their tune and going off key. And sometimes, they just end with an abrupt halt as I scramble to find a word that rhymes with puppies or Daisy or Jasper or Cuppers.
I can’t really say that my dogs love me singing to them, but I can confirm that there is no clapping of paws or rolling of the eyes. Perhaps they know I am just singing my love to them?
Maybe it is the fact that I do sing to my dogs that made me to pause at this cute little video and smile, or maybe it was the sweet innocence of the child singing it, but I knew I would be sharing it all with you the minute I saw it.
I apologize up front, it is a bit of an ear worm, but I think you will agree that it is a good one. 🙂
Happy Friday everyone!
Favorite Video Friday – Iso Playing on the Couch
Back in February I featured a video called Iso Takes a Bath. (It’s still one of my favorite videos.)
Well, as it turns out, Iso has quite a few videos in slow motion. Here’s another really cute one. Some of the scenes of him running on the couch had me laughing. Is he not the most adorable little guy? 🙂
Happy Friday!
