Favorite Video Friday – The elves are hard at work

December 2, 2016 1 comment

I can’t believe it’s already December 2nd. Where did the year go? How did we get to December is so quickly?

Well, at least I got the tree up! Will we get our holiday photos done in  time to make cards? That is still an open question. I hope so.

It would help to have some snow to make the holiday spirit shine, but in lieu of that, I’m sharing a very Christmasy video featuring some very cute holiday elves. I’m hoping this will get me into the holiday mood so I can get going on that Christmas shopping.

Tell me, are you done shopping yet? Are all your decorations up?

Happy Friday everyone!

Favorite Video Friday – Mog’s Christmas Calamity

December 3, 2015 3 comments

This week’s pet video might not be of the typical fare you find here on Fridays, but it made me smile and it warmed the cockles of my heart. After what happened this week in California, I think we could all use a little cockle warming, don’t you?

Let us not forget the beauty in the world, like the love of a good pet or the kindness of strangers. The truth is we rely on their kindness and mercy more than we know. We should make sure to recognize it whenever we find it.

“If you suddenly and unexpectedly feel joy, don’t hesitate. Give in to it. There are plenty of lives and whole towns destroyed or about to be. We are not wise, and not very often kind. And much can never be redeemed. Still life has some possibility left. Perhaps this is its way of fighting back, that sometimes something happened better than all the riches or power in the world. It could be anything, but very likely you notice it in the instant when love begins. Anyway, that’s often the case. Anyway, whatever it is, don’t be afraid of its plenty. Joy is not made to be a crumb. (Don’t Hesitate)”

Happy Friday everyone.

Favorite Video Friday – Let it be Christmas

December 20, 2013 5 comments

I’m a little late getting today’s video out on the blog. One of the benefits of Christmas vacation is getting to sleep in. I am happy to report that is exactly what I did! 🙂

Anyways, this is the last Favorite Friday Video before Christmas so I thought I would take a sentimental route. I hope you enjoy this lovely montage of Christmas photos of dogs set to music. It made me smile. I hope it will do the same for you.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Mel
