Favorite Video Friday – Dog games in the snow

I don’t know about you, but winter tends to generate a little cabin fever in me and the dogs. We’ve been stuck inside for almost a week now and we are going crazy. There is ice everywhere and the temps are in the below zero range (night and day) making walks a little dangerous right now.

It’s a perfect time for dog games. Fortunately, we have a slew of them to play with:

We also play hide and seek games with treats.

But, if we had snow and the temps were a little more welcoming, we’d be doing this. B the Dog seems to love these doggie games and I have a feeling that mine might like something similar.

So, what are you doing to help you and your dog deal with the cabin fever in your house?

Happy Friday everyone!

Cabin fever not possible here, as Ray is always waiting at the back door once he sees us start layering up! 🙂

My dogs hate to go out even if it has been raining and the ground is wet.

I love B’s enthusiasm! The playful way she kicked snow on the camera was cute, too. I’ve had large dogs that really came alive in the snow, but not right now. I have three small dogs whose undercarriage is just a few inches off the ground. We just got 8″ of snow and their idea of celebrating meant upgrading from the light coat to the heavy coat. They are not having fun with it. 😦

I am bored. Momwithoutpaws and dadwithoutpaws take turns throwing my toy, taking me out. It’s not the same as being outside all day chasing squirrels or sniffing for pee mail
