Black and White Sunday #65 – Shelties and Snowflakes

December 15, 2013 Leave a comment Go to comments

Normally I don’t include descriptions with my Black and White Sunday photos, but these last few needed a brief background.

The second photo was taken yesterday at the dog park as it was snowing. We were leaving when I noticed all these amazing snowflakes landing on Jasper’s back. I just couldn’t resist taking a few photos. The snowflakes are real and Jasper’s fur served as the backdrop. (The last 2 are closer views of the snowflakes.) Pretty cool huh?

No two snowflakes are the same.

Every time we get snow or flurries I always see at least one snowflake but you have done what I have yet to be able to do, and that is capture them on film! That is awesome, and the fact that Jasper was the one who ‘brought them to your attention’ is even better! Now I’m jealous of all your snow, I want some so I can take Furbomber snow pictures!

Thank you. Yoiu are too kind. I think it helps I can crop it a bit so you can see them a bit closer. I love catching snowflakes, but they are often hard to get. Stopping over!

Thanks Jan. I think it helped that the flakes were so big and that my iPhone had a zoom on it. πŸ™‚

Wow – absolutely beautiful. It’s this time of year I really miss being back east and seeing this kind of snowfall – nothing like those big puffy flakes like this. Thanks for sharing.

Why thank you! I have often tried to capture them, but never on Jasper’s fur. I guess I should try that more often! LOL!
