Favorite Video Friday – The kitty caretaker

I can’t help but squeal over the videos I found for today’s Favorite Video Friday blog post.

I first saw Murkin last year in an adorable video that was posted in 2011. It was so popular that it already had quite a few hits (it’s now up over 7 million views) and had a ton of comments.

What I didn’t know then was that Murkin is a kitty caretaker and has cared for many abandoned kitties in need of a mom. Your heart will melt when you see how gentle he is with each and every one. I love that he plays with them but is also their source of comfort.

You’ve got to love a dog that is both gentle and kind and Murkin is both.

I decided that just sharing one wouldn’t be enough to highlight what a special dog Murkin is, so I have included a few today. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

You can watch more Murkin videos on his YouTube channel or follow him on Facebook.

Happy Friday everyone!

Love it. Until our kitty passed at 19, he considered it his job to give both dogs a bath each morning. Special. 🙂

So sweet. You would never know they are supposed to be natural enemies.

I loved these videos. I definitely think Honey has some of Murkin’s gentle caregiving skills and think that our next dog will probably be a kitten.
