Gratitude

In today’s world it can be easy to become jaded and to think that there is very little good left. But if you look carefully, you will see amazing, wonderful people doing great things.

Today, I am grateful for those hidden heroes in our lives. The ones who offer hope in the face of despair, who give when they have little, who lift up those who have been left behind, and who offer a kind word or gesture to someone in their time of need.

Thank you to all of you who read, who share and who offer support and comfort to others who come to this blog.

You are the reason I write this blog.

Daisy, Jasper, Cupcake and I thank you.

You are amazing, wonderful people doing great things.

Well said Mel. While we don’t ‘celebrate’ Thanksgiving here it’s good to have a day to reflect on the better things and people in our world. And think appreciative thoughts. We should do it every day really :) Happy Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving! And I know you’ve opened your home and your heart to yet another dog who needed in from the cold– true gratitude is giving back in thanks for all you have. If you truly received in proportion to what you give, you would be a millionaire.

I am grateful you are my friend.

Thank YOU, Mel. I don’t even need the feast because I am just always so happy to spend all the time around this holiday appreciating the little things I am not always pause to be grateful for. This week I have mostly been thankful for those who inspire me. And as I reflect on them all, what they do and thank them, they are the part of the hidden heroes you mention… Happy Thanksgiving!
