Favorite Video Friday – Husky Sled Dog Magic
Sometimes these long wintery days can start to seem a little long and dreary. This is especially true after the holidays, when all the magic of the season is gone.
I think that is why this video appealed to me so much. It brings a little magic of the winter season back for all of us to enjoy. Fresh snow, sled dogs and children, what could be more fun?
So grab yourself a cup of coffee and watch the Lapland Huskies pull their sleds through the snow.

I was just talking to someone who took a whole group of 13 year old to do this and had a blast…the dogs look like they’re having the time of their lives

But I have to say, that’s the calmest bunch of sled pulling dogs I’ve ever seen. I guess it’s the difference between having a team to pull tourists versus a team that races.

Wow – that looks both FUN and horribly cold!!! Very pretty, and the dogs really love it, don’t they?
They absolutely do! I would love to try it some day just to experience what it must feel like to be on a sled pulled by dogs, but I could do without the cold.
