Favorite Video Friday – Agathe Wants Kisses
I know what they say about giving dogs hugs, but this video is a bit different. Agathe clearly loves the hugs and kisses she is receiving and even comes back for more. Agathe reminded a lot of Daisy as she is now. You’d never have believed it 4 years ago, but she now loves the extra attention. She will even paw at me when she wants more attention (something she learned from Jasper) just like Agathe does with her mom.
I hope you enjoy this lovely Friday video.
Happy Friday!

Awwww! You can tell Agathe loves the hugs because her owner waits for her to come to her, as opposed to forcing her arms around her. I love how Agathe leans so much into the hug that she slides a little when her human lets go. What a beautiful relationship they have!
Yes. That’s why I decided I would post the video. She leans into the hugs and seeks them out. I love this video.
That;s great. I wish I had someone to video my dog. I’ll ask him a hug and he snuggles his head into my neck. When I ask for a kiss, he pulls his head away and gives kisses.
I wish you did too Lynda. Maybe then you could share it with us. That is so very sweet.
I’m always wishing someone could capture Daisy with me. If she wasn’t so darn camera shy I could capture her, but I guess we have to be happy that we know what our dogs do.
Thanks for your feedback.
I apologize for failing to proofread and catch my typing errors and missed words. I just got a MAC and it’s taking time to adjust to the new keyboard.
I’m going to get a friend to video the hugs and kisses.
LOL! You do not have to apologize1 I make so many typos it drives me crazy! Try having fat fingers and typing on an iPhone.
I see signs in the video that Agathe likes some parts of the hugging more than others. But that’s just a sign of a true relationship.
Agathe’s person tries not to force herself too much. And Agathe is tolerant of some things she likes a little less to make room for things she does like. That’s what a relationship is all about.
I think it’s sweet (and really amazing) that Daisy has come to the point of soliciting affection from you, Mel. Once again, a sign of a true relationship based in earning trust.
Great point Pamela. I saw a few signs as well, but in most cases Agathe did the approaching. Interesting to see conflicting behavior. I like how you described it.
Daisy amazes me every day.
