A Mother’s Day Tribute to Animal Moms
This Sunday is Mother’s Day.
If you are lucky enough to have a wonderful mom, then you will likely be celebrating it with her in some way this weekend.
I am truly blessed to have a really awesome Mom. She has always nurtured and supported me and yet, still made sure that I knew the difference between right and wrong. She has always been my rock when I have needed her most – EVERY single time.
Animal moms show the same nurturing care for their own children. They feed them, teach them the ways of the world, protect them, and send them off to live their own lives. They don’t have their own special day but they certainly deserve a little recognition.
That’s why this special tribute to animal moms struck a chord with me. It features some interesting facts about each of the animal moms in the slide show. Did you know mother dolphins actually synchronize their breathing with their baby’s so it can get used to coming up for air? Neither did I.
